COVID-19

By August 4, 2020 No Comments

UPDATE:

We are now allowing clients in our lobby on a limited basis for appointments. In order to enter the building, you MUST wear a face mask. We are limiting the number of clients in our lobby to a maximum of 8 at any given time to allow for proper social distancing. We ask that no more than one adult person per pet comes inside and that you call us to check in for your pet’s appointment prior to entering the building.

As information regarding COVID-19 continues to spread and evolve, it can be tricky to separate fact from fiction and to fully understand how to best care for your pet during the pandemic. We at Jackson Creek Veterinary Clinic remain focused on providing the best possible care for your furry family members and will be open for business until further notice. If you have any questions about how the virus will affect your animals, and how you can provide for your pets if you become sick, please refer to this FAQ: https://www.avma.org/?/?/2020-03/covid-19-faq-pet-owners.pdf, or contact us at (209) 223-3504.

We made the difficult decision to cancel our low-cost vaccine clinics until further notice. Check back here and on our Facebook page for updates.

We have increased the frequency of our regular cleaning, and have implemented pet-safe chemicals verified to kill the COVID-19 virus by the CDC and EPA.

If you have tested positive for COVID-19, have been to a high-risk area within the last 14 days, or are displaying flu-like symptoms, please call us to reschedule your pet’s appointment ASAP or send a healthy, non-exposed family member or friend in your place.

We will continue to provide updates here and on our Facebook page as the situation evolves. Please don’t hesitate to call us at (209) 223-3504 with any questions or concerns that weren’t addressed in this post.
